Marlounsly (pronounced Mar-loon-slee) is a singer/song-writer born in Haiti and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. At the age of four, her family arrived to the U.S. Marlounsly learned English by remembering songs on the radio. At a young age, she excelled in reading/writing classes and her teachers always referred to her personality as bright & contagious. She even built the confidence to participate in her fourth grade talent show; where she sang “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce. It became obvious that she had found her true calling by merging her writing and singing skills. In high school, she took chorus class and started perfecting her craft. In June 2016, she released her first single titled “Therapeutic”. This single caught the attention of thousands of locals and immediately certified her. Later that year, she released her first EP called “True Colors”. Not only was she releasing original content, she was doing Instagram covers. In 2018 she landed a spot to perform at Miami’s Best Life Festival. Where her entire city and even strangers voted her in. She performed amongst artist such as Ella Mai, H.E.R and Summer Walker. Later that year, she backed up her winning streak by releasing her album “Naturally Bad”. This album was easily a hit, being that the message was to be “Dope, with or without accommodation”. In 2019, she shot a music video to the hit song on the tape called “Lowkey” and got more buzz from a viral tweet.
